Born and raised in Rome, Italy I grew up in a rich environment full of enthusiasm for culture, architecture, history, nature and of course food!

Pushed by a never-ending curiosity, I spent time in several countries and eventually found my new home in California in 2007. 

Although I had a background in Mechanical/Environmental Engineering, I quickly realized that my passion was to be able to create something that would stimulate the senses and give pleasure to those in it. All throughout my childhood I was surrounded by an abundance of beautiful gardens, and architecture that were created hundreds and hundreds of years ago, but still remain for those who wander amongst them today. Especially after leaving Italy, I knew that I wanted to bring my history here to California and create beautiful landscapes that would last for generations! 

I like to think that the role of a Landscape Designer is very much like that of a chef. You work with your ingredients to play with the relationships they have with one another and utilize them for their unique colors, textures and scents so that the end result is truly something spectacular!

Over the last 15 years I have worked in the fashion industry taking inspiration from all my travels around the world. Having spent a lot of time in New York, Paris and Italy, I had the chance to learn and fall in love with timeless designs with styles that span from ancient classic to modern minimalist.

In my career, I have learned that collaboration is the most important aspect of my job. Whether it’s working with other creative minds or simply looking the architecture and property so that I make sure that what I design is something seamless and cohesive inside and out.

I have realized what attracts me most to a space is when it feels calming, yet beautiful, with an easy flow that connects room to room. During the design process, I like to indulge in details that can offer rich moments of beauty and functionality for everyday life.

I would have to say that originality is my greatest motivation. I believe that creating special and one of a kind homes means to design spaces that reflect the personalities and styles of the families living in them.
